digiKam 1.2.0 released

It seem that digiKam team is very active. After two months of release 1.2 version, they are releasing version 1.2 with massive change-log. I wonder how they manage to do that? Is developing digiKam so easy? Anyway, enjoy this release.

The main changes are in ImageEditor and BatchQueueManager. ImageEditor becomes multi-threaded and has a zoom-able preview widget. BatchQueueManager gains 16 new tools. Moreover, digiKam managed to close 100 bug reports which is impressive.

digiKam 1.1.0 released

digiKam team have announced digiKam 1.1.0 bug fix release. Although it is bug fix release (More than 100 bugs have been closed since version 1.0.0) , it also contains some new features :
AdvancedRename : The ReplaceModifier has regular expressions support now.
ImageEditor : Add an option to add vignetting over an image.

digiKam 1.0.0 out !

ImagedigiKam team have announced availability of digiKam 1.0.0. The last stable release was 0.10.0 in 2009-03-18; 8 months ago. This version brings a long list of new features and bugs-fixes: 30 features have been added and 485 bugs have been closed since last version.

What's new?

- Add new Batch Queue Manager
Now with the new Batch Queue Manager you can add more than one action to batch queue of images.
