AbiWord team announced the version 2.8 of AbiWord.

AbiWord 2.8 brings many improvements to the user experience. Main new features are:
- Improved Collaboration support: AbiWord gained the ability to distinguish the text written by different authors using various highlight colors while collaborating. The collaboration support has been tightly integrated with the new online web service called http://abicollab.net/, which lets you store documents online, allows easy document sharing with your friends, and performs format conversions on the fly.

I do not know if ( Arabic dictionary ) exist in the program itself.
* I tried to insert a symbol. I noticed that some symbols did not appear , it seems they are not defined.
* If you insert an image, there are no multiple options for editing.
* If you want to save an image.There is only one format available which is PNG.
* Grammer checking is availble but you can not understand where & what is your fault.
-Improved Office Open XML (.docx) support---> good feature.
